Cd player - error message

My CD player (803) is refusing to eject or play CDs and displays the message 'ERROR' on its screen. Does anyone know what this means or how it can be put right?

Dealer would be your best bet. I've had that problem on my '98 V70. The dealer replaced the whole system for the reason I cannot recall. All repairs were done under warrantee.

Klim's right Geoff. Best to have it checked out by your dealer. Sounds like one or more cd's could be stuck in the changer.

Thanks. My local Bosnian dealer solved the problem. Apparently, two CDs had somehow got inserted in a single slot causing the machine to jam. The dealer advised to be careful to ensure that the message 'Load Disc' is always displayed prior to inserting a CD. It works fine now.
