Brake lights

ok - silly question, and I only took a few minutes, but I am a little unsure of how to remove the lense on either side of the rear hatch as I have a bulb that has burnt out. What part(s) do I need to remove in order to get to the bulbs.

You need to remove the inside liner from the cargo area which is right in front of the lights. Basically theres a side cover that pulls out and then you will see a little rear cover over the area of the rear lights. Take that out and then you can access the holders for the bulbs. Basically the bulbs sit in little plastic holders that you rotate and then pull out.

Whoops I was in the wrong forum, I thought we were talking about the 2001+ XC. Hopefully things haven't changed too much, sorry.
