OBD Scan tool?

Whats a good scan tool for my car? I understand (maybe incorrectly) that there is no aftermarket version of the volvo scan tool so you can only get generic codes, or is there? I'm looking for cheap, but most useful features I can get. Thanks.

For the service manual try to search this forum for VADIS CD or DVD.
You can download a copy from www.edonkey.com (after installing their file sharing software). Beware, the one with Part1,2,3 is downloadable (1,4 GB sum) but in Swedish!
