01 V70 XC Sluggish in reverse. Normal?

My 01 V70XC is very sluggish in reverse. Backing up an incline takes an enormous amount of throttle and the transmission seems to shudder. Anyone else have this same issue?

Sounds like you might have a problem. My XC70 has neither difficulty nor shuddering when backing up an incline. Take it to a dealer and make them look at the problem before your warranty expires, unless, of course, you have extended warranty in which case you don't have to rush.

That doesn't sound right.
Mine is sluggish in both directions. :p
Are you trying J turns or something? :D
I'd suggest having a dealer check it out; shuddering is never normal. -unless its perhaps an old deisel benz.
