Strange situation. I have had the car for 10 months now and very satisfied. The car has 90,000Km ( 55K miles ) and since I got it, I experienced a few occasions when the engine would crank more than usual before starting (happened when hot and also cold). When started runs like a charm. Also a few times the car started just fine but as soon as it fired up it stopped . It restarted normally and ran smooth like a baby. Also a few times after roughly 11-15 secs after starting it it misses only once (without stopping)as if there was an air bubble going through.

Does anyone have an idea ?
Are these 3 different cases related to the same "problem" ?

Thanks for your help.

Luc,

Some of the ‘hard starting’ issues that have come up for discussion in this forum have been linked to a faulty ignition antenna ring. Did you recall if any related messages showed up on your display?
