There was a $1000 AAA rebate from Volvo for thenew XC70's offered some time ago. I sent in for mine the end of August/2004. Has anyone actually received this rebate and how long before receiving?

I sent mine in at the end of August. No reply from Volvo so far. I did however got my delivery confirmation from USPS so they must have received it.

Check just arrived in the mail today. I believe we purchased on 8/13 mailed my rebate form in probably 10-ish days later.

Just received mine. Only $500 and was expecting $1000. We purchased on 8/31/2004 and were told by Smythe that was the last day to qualify for the $1000. Sent about 5 days later. What to do? With no telephone #'s to call! Just got screwed out of 500 bucks! :mad: :mad: :mad:

should be from date of purchase, not send in date

My wife originally spoke to an employee who no longer works in the division.

Finally, last week we recvd our $1000 dollars rebate!!!!

Just wanted to update this thread. Only six months after purchasing our 2004 XC70 do we received the last $500 installment of our $1000 rebate. Working through Frank Bruschia of Volvo customer service we found that our car was improperly input as a "demo" car only having ~20 miles on it at the time of purchase. This improperly assigned only a $500 rebate. It took persistance on my part and Volvo eventually realized I wasn't going to go away. They finally coughed up the extra $500. :)
