automatically subscribe to threads

I am new here, and am wondering where I might find the setting to automatically subscribe to a thread so I can see replies. I know I can do it on a message by message basis, but am missing this default setting. I know all other BBS software and sites do this, but I don't see it under profile or options.

You can change your default subscription options by following this link under User CP > Edit Options

Select your preference from the drop down listed under Default Thread Subscription Mode
