613 stereo

We didn't get the 803 because it didn't have a tape deck (and my wife didn't care about the awesome sound and spending the commensurate), but the 613 does sound a bit thin.

Turning the bass all the way up seems to enrich the tone a little.

I read somewhere on this forum that there are "hidden settings"? Do they mean the buttons that you can press in and press out (tone and balance)?

I was hoping this stereo would sound at least really decent. Perhaps better aftermarket speakers?
