2000 XC CD Changer Cable in cargo area

Where is the factory installed CD Changer cable located in a 2000 XC? I've searched around in the cargo area, and I am unable to locate a cable for the CD Changer. Did the factory really install a cable for the optional changer?

If it had it, it would be taped to the wiring harness in the area of the left taillight. Most cars did not have it.
