Bicycle Lift Carrier

Has anyone seen the Bike Lift Carrier? Does it really get your bike on the roof with little effort? I might be old and ugly but I still like to ride a bike and would like to know if anyone has used the lift.

Try reading this lot and do a search for bike carrier and you will find 25 pages of posts to do with bike carriers. I have the tow hitch mounted one and find it better then the roof option. IMO the roof carrier poses to many problems like height, getting it up and down etc.

Don't bother with the assisted lift carrier-it's dangerous. When you are trying to take the bike off, if you are not careful you will re-activate the lever and the bike lifts up again. This is a real problem with the XC90 as it's so high. The return pull is then too strong to resist and, if the pole is not fully engaged, there's a risk of it coming out and slamming into the roof. :mad:
