I am looking for a power unit for passenger front seat. One of the buttons is broken and my dealer can't replace it. He asks $350 CDN ($250 USD) for the whole assembly. To much for a silly button http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif . Searched the Internet without much success. Ask local wrecked, but there aren't many totaled '01 XC around...

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

PS: Photo is not mine (oubviously http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif ! )

Nope !

Several years ago (1999), I was looking for some parts for my previous V70 T5 MY1998 and I found that Volvo shop just in my neighbourhood.

Well after three years, my home repair died last week in the hand (litterally :( !) of my 6'8'' stepson's cousin after he took the small button for a mechanical device and pried it so hard (the ignition was off...) that it finally fell apart. And the moron had the insolence to told me he had repaired it! Rant end.

Trying to find a (preferably used) replacement part, but seems to be very rare stuff in my neck of the woods. So, I'm stuck. Any suggestion? Does someone know a place where I can find the unit ass'y and not the whole seat!

Thanks!
