Osd final payment

I ordered an 03 XC70 last month.  I haven't received the paperwork yet but got the order number telephonically.  The car is scheduled to come off the assembly line March 10th but I can't get away to go to Sweden until May.  My dealer thought the full balance was due thirty days before the car comes off the line.  I believe its thirty days before my scheduled pick up.  Does anyone know first hand?

My understanding is that final payment is due no later than 30 days prior to pickup date at the FDC.

This is certainly what I've been asked to do. The money is then forwarded directly to Volvo so that they can do all the paper work and have assurance that the car is paid for by the time you arrive at the FDC.

If your local sales person says otherwise have him check with his/her OSD expert and say others in this forum say otherwise.
