What do you consider the best of osd

I tried to identify what I think the best three features of OSD are and I've provided the ability to select your own by posting it.

This one to me is a hands down no brainer. My wife and I are getting a car that we love but that we would never buy at $40k for $31k!!! If that's not enough we get to visit family for free too, wow, pinch me, is this a dream? The free premium pkg thing on top of OSD pricing clinched it for us. The tickets are great but at the end of the day we can buy tickets this time of the year from the East coast for ~$450 so while great, it isn't the clincher. The car at a reasonable price is though. I'm totally new to this board and just ordered my 04 XC70 through OSD.

couldn't help noticing the "free premium pkg" comment ?

was this a special deal for you, or does everyone get it ?

I never heard this from my dealer.

It was a promotion on the '03 if you pick up by end of March.
Since I just picked up my car, don't know what promotions are offered with the '04. Call the OSD 800 number and ask. I found my dealer did not come forth with any information, but I know others received better dealer support. I heard about the offer from this forum.

The Free Prem Package was a promotional Volvo item that was avail for a few months last year and ended sometime in Dec 2002. Some others were able to secure this promotion and my advice is to ask again about with your sales person. These promotions sometimes don't get out into the field and you may need to ask your sales person to check in with their OSD/VCNA specialist.
