The Retasket Springs Resort doesn't have a web site for reservations -- only a tel number. They do have a URL reserved mind you but that's it.

The Mile-o-Motel does have web site and one can make reservations.

How far in advance should one reserve a nights stay given it will be mid June -- ie does it get real busy at this location at this time of year.

I'm holding off until Art posts his feedback on rates etc.

Regardless of the XC70 gathering being on/off I'm going to make room reservation at the Mile-o-Motel or a place nearby as my wife and I will make the trip anyhows.

Hi Barry,

I'm hoping to do something on the Saturday, but it wouldn't entail the full drive to the Mile "0" in Lillooet. Perhaps you'd want to get a room in North Vancouver instead? Lillooet's quite the drive from Vancouver.

Feel free to email me if you need further recommendations, there's a gathering of reasonable accomodations at the North end of the Lion's Gate Bridge.. along Capilano Road. Here you'd be well situated to partake in the drive up to Squamish, into the Paradise Valley, then back to North/West Van.

That is unless you're planning on doing the full circle route regardless... up to you of course http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

It was great to see in the latest Rolling magazine all the great pictures of the 2003 Volvo events http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif I sure wish we could have made the SF bridge tour of wagons, looks like a great time. My husband drooled over the P1800 "California girl" picture. That car was his first love in Volvos.
We were lucky and made it to the East Coast and International Volvo Expo, and hope we see more of you XC'ers there next year !! There were great events, but not enough XCs there !
Can't wait until spring, car washing and waxing, and carpet shampoos. Am VERY tired of the salt and cold http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/unhappy.gif
cheers
