I am new to the forum, this is a great site. I have an XC 90 on order. My big question is whether navigation will be available on the cars first released. Anyone know? What about night vision? I want to get one of these completely supped up http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif and keep it for a while. My QX4 lease technically ended yesterday but I have extended the lease to get to the xc 90.

Hi,

The last information I heard from Volvo was that the Navigation system would be available with early production but Night vision probably would not be available until later.

This is what I have told my customers who have placed deposits. But I also inform them that we have yet to get XC90 official specifications and order details... so things can and may change.

Just received the sales brochure for the XC90 here in Germany some days ago. There is nothing  mentioned about the night vision. I assume the RTI will be the same as in the xc70, quite great. And I definitely saw the Navi in 3 XC90 working last week on the German Highway. It was fun racing with 3 XC90; 3 Cross Country (including my VOR) and 2 S80.

All of them had the RTI  in their cars. Since all of them had swedish licence plates I guess they where on promotion tour or something else here in Germany. The car looks really great and was as fast as mine http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.

Apart from the nice loking cars one XC90 was driven by a really pretty blond women, what a combination http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Look forward to see and test the first XC90 available with my dealer later this year.
