From CarPoint.com:
Volvo enters the crowded SUV marketplace next year with an all-new model, to be unveiled at the NAIAS 2002. (Be sure to return to Carpoint on Monday, January 7, at 12:30 p.m. EST for a live Volvo Webcast. You must have Windows Media Player to view this special event.) Based heavily on the Adventure Concept Car (ACC) shown in Detroit last January, the XC90 will seat seven passengers and be equipped with the latest in safety technology. The XC90 is being billed as the top of Volvo's new XC lineup. Power will go to all four wheels through a 5- or 6-cylinder engine, both turbocharged. And while this is an all-new model, the styling clearly shows this car is all Volvo. Return to this Official Web Site January 6-8 to see Carpoint's live coverage of NAIAS 2002.
