Royal Ford likes the XC90:

"Volvo XC 90: Flat out, the best SUV in the world right now. Why? Because it's the safest. Volvo has somehow combined the high seat position that SUV drivers love with a low center of gravity. They've done it in a luxurious car that features a Roll Stability Control system that sets the car back to flat if driver stupidity (driving too fast, rapid lane changes) or dangerous road conditions try to tip it over. The system uses gyroscopes to monitor rate of roll and roll angle (roll is the car's rotation along its longitudinal centerline) and uses the brakes and engine torque to get the car back under control. I've already heard that Ford, which owns Volvo, is looking to put this system into Ford SUVs. That would be great news."
