Haldex 4wd tuning?

Hello,
Since the nex Haldex 4WD coupling is commanded by electronics, it should be possible to force it in a certain "mode" in the same way an automatic gearbox is forced in sport or winter mode.
By doing so, it would for example be possible to have 50% front and 50% rear traction by choice.
If conditions indicate you will certainly need traction on all wheels, you could prevent a slip in the first place.
Would be nice, or not?

You don´t need 50% + 50% belive me.
Haldex works great. After testdrive i order a XC70 2,5T Awd.
There will be new tyres after week 0232. Only summer tyres from Pirelli Scorpion (240 km/t). The roadhandling are superb.

I will return and tell you more after i get the volvo delivery in the beginning of December.

Hello,
I would very much like to hear from you when you have your XC70. If I am not mistaken, this is the 2003 model with Haldex and new petrol engine (at least for the XC).
Please report on the engine as well since I hesitate between it and the D5 (fuel consumption).
