Anyways, Volvo really downplays any off-road capabilities. No mention of skid plates, clearance angles, truck tires or gearing. Clearly no low-range but I wonder what first gear comes in at? The XC70 is severly limited on many forest service roads because it can&#39;t gear down low enough to crawl through erosion gullies or compression break down steep grades.
