I recently took the half-day Drive For Life Owner Experience (http://www.volvoownerexperience.com/) offered free to U.S. XC90 owners. See the XC90 Photo Gallery for action shots of what was covered.
We teamed up with 2 or 3 other owners in brand new XC90s and ran through 4 courses--panic stop, moose avoidance, slalom and autocross--following a classroom introduction. After pushing the XC90 to the limits and activating every traction & stability system, we were all grins and uniformly impressed with what this big vehicle can do. A great way to learn without beating up your own car!
