I found that my XC90 2004, just like my previous car an S80 1999 do not have enough power in the heated mirrors. In any other Volvo the mirrors are great, if it's raining I have to keep turning off and on the heated window button to get the mirrors to come on at a very low power for about 5 min and then do it all over again. What are they afraid of that they take to much power? Can the on time be change in software? It could not on the S80 according to Volvo Canada!
Is it just me or are the under powered / not on long enough? I like my mirrors clean and fog free, for me it’s a safety issue.
