There's a bevy of XC/V70 images out there disguised as emergency type vehicles, but this is the first one I've seen in the form of an XC90. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Hello,
Volvos are used a lot as police cars in Belgium, they used to have the 240 turbo, later the 850. The S/V40 are used as well.
Some time ago a also saw a (yellow&#33http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif XC70 with a medical team on board (for critical interventions).

I had heard the California Highway Patrol looked at the V70XC as a new patrol car but met a lot of resistance to the "station wagon" look. Big mistake in my book. They surely don't know what their missing!!!

I just wish mine would come under their radar screen. During my first 2,000 miles in our XC I got a ticket for 77 in a 55 in eastern Oregon. Wide open country and all I could come up with when asked "Any reason for the speed today?" was ahbada, ahbada, "new Volvo, I didn't realize I was going that fast...?" http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/unhappy.gif Didn't work, $175 http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif Had to use the cruise control after that...
