Has anyone swapped front seat bottoms left for right?

I own a 2007 XC-70 with about 150K miles. I was wondering if I could swap the front seat bottoms between the passenger side to the driver's side. The driver's side is showing a small tear just above the controls. If I could swap the bottoms, the rip would be covered up. Plus, I could put the driver's wear on the passenger seat which has seldom had anyone sitting in it.

I believe they are mirrored seats so cannot be switched. For example, the controls are on left of drivers seat and on right of passenger seat. The control panels are mounted on part of the frame which extends to the left for driver side and right for passenger side. Also, the seat belt attachments are "sided".

You should be able to just swap the leather seat cover. Just undo all the hog rings

Would be a quick job for a shop to swap the covers. Might be worth replacing the foam to.
