Rear Seat Release Pull Replacement

Hello All,

Recently purchased a 2013 Volvo XC70 3.2 AWD. Have been using this forum to learn more about her, thanks for the help so far.

The seat release button/pull broke the other day, part #39852156. Not to much information out there on how to replace it. Found a youtube video which helped, https://youtu.be/Z947bd4JPDg , hopefully the link will work.

Dealer ship quoted $215 to replace it. Figured I'd give it a go first, document the process, and share it with the forum.

Thanks again @VA Volvo for all the pics. It helped me quite a bit. I can only add a couple of things:

The part number (at least in NA) for the part behind the passenger is 39852162 - there are distinct sides.

Part 3 - Pic 3 (the site won't let me insert a pic), there's a 3rd tuck-in fabric area on the bottom of the part. It has a plastic backing, so it is easy. (It's under the thumb in part 3, pic 5.)
