04 XC90 Radio no volume

I'm considering purchasing an 04 XC90 on Monday. The radio power works but there is no sound and unable to change stations. The dealer said the battery had recently been disconnected and the radio worked prior to that. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Yes - DO NOT BUY the car until the radio works. Can be very complex, hard to diagnose and very expensive to fix. (it's a fiber optic based network for the sound system) If it's the car of your dreams there were many sold and many for sale. It doesn't happen to be a T6 also?

(That means run away even faster if it's a T6)

Thank you very much. Just the advice I was looking for. That was my gut as well. And, Yes, it's a T6!! So, No, I wont be buying!!
