Does anyone have a solution to revitalising a dead nokia built in cell phone. on my 2005 XC70. Power is there, live sim card in slot, strange message appears then nothing.

It's analog, no carrier supports it anymore.
05 really? It was useless by mid 2005 and only worked with AT&T anyway.

Looking at his location, he's in France. Totally different mobile setup than in North America. He should probably ask the question somewhere like Volvo Performance Club UK (www.vpcuk.org/forums/index.php) or a Euro-located site.

What's the message please? As for not being supported, they work ok in the UK so no real reason why not in Europe. Maybe someone has removed the hand set in the centre box?

Get a SIM for T-mobile or associated networks in your vicinity that still run 2G. BTW what is the message?
