Rear window shade

I have a pair of rear window retractable sun shades. Does anyone know how they get installed? Can't seem to find anything about them since they are discontinued. Part#9488667 and 9488657

Hi 02V70XC,
I recently purchased a V70 with the window shades and switched them to my XC. I could not figure out how they worked, but think my clips that apparently attach to the window were broken since I could see no way to keep them up. As far as the installation, I removed the door panel and pulled them off, they appeared to have been glued on or maybe originally had a sticky strip on them. When I installed them on my XC, I removed the door panel and hooked them onto the top edge of the panel (one side of the bottom plastic piece has a lip on it that goes toward the door panel) then replaced the door panel which then held them in place. Might want to use some sort of adhesive, but mine locked into place when the door panel was re-installed.

I'll remove the panel and see if they clip on somehow..Did your pair have 3 bolts with a nut? .would seem odd if I were to drill 3 holes to attached this(I included a pic on a link below) the pair I have requires a hook for the shade to clip on when it's fully up

Yea, sorry, mine did not have any bolts that I recall. I don't have the car with the shades anymore, but I know that I did not have to remove any bolts to get them off. I agree that it would seem odd to have to drill holes to install them. The link you included look like what I had, but my hooks that hook on the window glass were broken.
