Ahoy !
I trust everyone is well.

Re: 2001 V70 XC
The problem occurs when I fuel-up (tank half-full or more); although, I've not yet replicated the at-the-gas-pump scenario.

Engine will not catch&run until the throttle pedal is slightly depressed ( like setting the choke on an older carburetted car). Then, fires right up. Slight stumble (rich ?) but levels off and all is fine.

Any suggestions as to the cause and remedy of the re-start problem ?

Thank you.

A vida scan would be a good first step

Any number of things could be the cause -

01 has the known bad throttle, or could be just dirty, or I had a temp sender (no codes) recently cause a car to not start when hot

But everything is just a guess until VIDA scans your control units -

Hello. Thanks.
How would I know what VIDA item may be the cause ?

Oops - Also, how would one know if the cause would be detected by a VIDA scan ?
Thanks.
