Hello...I broke the sunroof glass yesterday with the sunroof about 1/2 open. Afer cleaning up the glass and looking at some videos i was going to start the removal of the broken one but the sunroof will not close past half way so i can access the scews that hold it in place. It will open fully then come to just under mid way and stop when closing it. The track is free of broken glass. I have tried locking and unlocking the door with the key 3 times, i have disconnected the battery to hopefully reset the motor but nothing is working. Any help would be great. Thank you

If I remember correctly, you need to tilt the glass, not to slide it, remove plastic shades on sides, then you'll see 4 torx bolts, 2 on each sides, which hold glass in place.

Maybe calibration?

Here is the calibration procedure http://www.volvoxc.com/0/resources/how-to/pdf/calibrating_the_sun_roof_module_(srm).pdf
Here is a thread on calibration http://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-s60-v60-10/sunroof-wont-shut-correctly-43031/

If you are trying to close the sunroof by auto close it may have lost calibration. Close it by holding the switch to the close position. If the roof only closes a little bit keep pressing the switch until the roof is closed to the position you need it to be.

Or it's a broken slider.

I finally got it to close far enough to reach the rear screw so I could remove the rest of the panel. I got all the glass cleaned up and everything is moving but the problem now is only the right side will tilt. Hopefully I can figure this out while Im waiting on the glass to arrive. What a PITA..thanks for the help guys.
