Only because I don't have the mechanical ability to keep her running myself and my "free" service guy is no longer... I can't afford to pay someone to do the repairs...
I've had her since new - November 2002. The list of new/replaced stuff in her is impressive. Alas, she won't pass inspection without 2 new lower engine mounts and a parking brake adjustment.
Also recommended is a RF wheel bearing replacement. There is an oil leak at the timing cover. For the past several months I've just topped her off once a month with a quart.
She's still in great shape in so many ways and I am really, REALLY not happy about having to part with her. The memories of hauling around my baby and watching him grow up riding in the back seat *sniff*
I'd love to know that she's going to someone with a clue who can resuscitate her, or at least let her live on through "organ donation" ;)
