I'm considering 17" vs 18" wheels. Whose running 17s or 18s? Pictures please!
I'm really interested in what tire sizes you run on them. I have a 2006 XC70 with stock suspension.

Yea, Ive been doing home work on wheels as well. I am sure someone with specific info will chime in, but I do not think those wheel sizes (with a similar to stock size tire) are going to be an issue in anyway. I want to add some offset to the fronts and little to the back for cosmetics. Been having a very hard time finding a wheel with the correct lug pattern and more offset. As I understand it Ford Taurus wheels have the same pattern. 5 x 108 mm or 5 x 4.25 if that helps you select a wheel you like. Of course you ll need to make sure the offset is very similiar and width. If you do the math on the stock tire, and get its overall high and width, you should be fine with any 17 or 18 inch wheel, as long as your new wheel tire combo is the same over all height and width as the original. Basically giving you more wheel and less rubber. And of course, since the vehicle is AWD, you need the same height at all four corners :)

I was considering Pegs in either 17 or 18"
TDRs would be sweet but are pricier and hard to find used

18's are fine on a P2 XC70. I have 235/50/18 on ours and the rolling circumference is almost identical to stock so no speedo issues. Will try to post an old image sometime.

235/55 or 225/55/17s are also very nice.
I found my 235s being a bit heavy and 225s "just right"
Circumference with all of these is about the same, nothing to fret over speedometer wise.
