Hello future friends!
For someone looking to by a pre-owned XC (my son just totalled my '92 240 wagon -- ouch!http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif, I am curious: if you had to choose a "best so far" XC model year (1998, 1999, or 2000) which would it be and why? (which not and why not, too!http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif?
The usual criteria: value against depreciation, specific model year mechnical/electrical/appearance quirks, wear and tearability, specific model year improvements, etc.
Any reason not to work with a reputable third-party Volvos-only shop? Anyone know of such a shop in western Mass?
Thanks for the help. My insurance check is arriving and I need to make my choice very soon (many XC's are out there right now).
Burt
