oil loss

My 99XC somehow lost 1/2 qt of oil in the last 2000 mile with no visible drip. I read in the IPD catalog that the turbo can leak, and wonder if anyone else has had this problem or trouble with a leak in the turbo drain pipe seal? IPD says we can fix it ourselves, all for $8.50! My engine still runs fine and I doubt i'm burning the oil.
    No sign of loss at the dealer either. Bottom line: I don't have a level garage floor--no loss at all.

That might help, but 1/2 a qt. isn't that bad.
