On a rcent 500 mi trip, the engine light went on. My OBDII reader indicated "lean fuel mixture". A mechanic told me that I could return home with "no problem" and that's how it seems to date, except that the engine light is still ON.
I'm suspecting air getting in somewhere, where it's not wanted, or poor fuel delivery. As I recall, when I bought the car several months ago, I was told that the fuel pump and/or the fuel filter were replaced at that time [or not?].
Would appreciate any suggestions.:o
