Does anyone have a link to a 2000 brochure so I can see what options were available etc? Thanks. [thumbup]

Volvo accessories website-

This might be what you are looking for - found it under "other models"

Well, during my short 2 hr search yesterday I only found the Volvo cars link which has to have serious errors on it, giving straight S (standard feature to everything for the XC SE, which isn't true e.g. graphite colored wheels like an R)... Hoping the real brochure had real info. What packages were available on the XC SE? The one I may pick up has probably a cold weather (headlight wipers, heated seats/mirrors), it has nivomat, full leather, partial wood steering wheel. Simply, I guess as i said before what packages were available or stand alone options so I can see what this one has or if there is some other combo I'd prefer. Thanks.

All US P80 XCs have Nivomats. If you're not in the US none of the below would be applicable

Actually not many options on an SE in the USA
Cold package was, I believe, standard on SEs
Booster seats
Dolby SC901 stereo system (VERY few had this)
Dealer installed roof spoiler
and I think that's about it
If someone actually ordered one, they had a choice of different interior wood trim, the spoiler could come from the factory, etc but I've sold over 300 P80s and I have not seen any that differed from the norm.

At this point where these being now nearly 16 years old, and most being 110% JUNK you buy for mileage and condition, condition being the applicable word here!

Service records are a must unless you know exactly what to look for mechanically.

If it's a real nice one and its color is Fuscia, you buy it!

Okay so:
Booster seats
901
Roof Spoiler
Pretty sure no booster, and no spoiler. Have to check stereo but thought it looked very similiar to my 855R stereo...
It has issues, but think I can handle them. I'm sure you know, but I don't... what issues are resolved by removal of the driveshaft? I hear noises I've never heard in a FWD Volvo or VW, or Saab, DSM, etc... I'm hoping removal cures all. Then when I have time and money fix driveshaft to re-gain AWD if I desire. I love the color, second behind Buttercup 95 T5-Rs...Olive (?) Green. :)
FWIW I've had and wrenched a lot on my 96 855R. Had it since 2004 or 5. New reg compression 2.5t RN whiteblock going in soon with 16T and greens.

JRL- will either of my OBX downpipes (for FWD 850/s-v-c 70) fit this XC?

Can you elaborate? Thx. FWIW I know its been asked 10,000 times before, but a quick overview of noises would be awesome. Thx.

What is the proper tire size: 205/55/16, 205/60/16, 205/65/16? Thanks. FWIW my 855R correct 'no cost option 'fail'' all-season wheel was graphite colored Columbas in 205/50/16. 55 rub fender liner. Thx.

ME elaborate noises?!
What the hell kind of noises or symptoms are you having.
If you can't describe/articulate your own issue no one will be able to help you
