2004 XC90, no key FOB - is this an issue with battery dis/re-connect?

Hey all - I've got all the parts to do my PCV system and I'm reading over instructions without actually doing the work (dry run, mental prep) and I got to the part where I re-connect my battery and press the unlock button to initiate the ECM.

That's great, but I don't have a key fob/clicker. Bought my car used and got one key.

Is there a way around this?

Never had to do that, just hook up the battery and the car should run.

Ok, thanks! I've seen the step in some tutorials and it was missing from some so I figured I'd throw it out there.

I have no idea how the car managed to come with only one key, but it is what it is until I get some money for clickers.
