Hi: I have a couple questions about my 2004 XC70 that may be answered elsewhere, but a quick look revealed no answer. 1). Is cylinder number 1 is on the front (far right) of the engine, or are the cyl numbers staggered? 2). I need to lift the engine just a little, just enough to assist in removing the old and re-installing a new timing belt, lift will be about an inch or so, - is the location of the engine support bar (for jack position), just the front edge of the oil pan (using a 2 x 4 crosspiece), or is there another location to lift the engine, also is it necessary to loosen the engine mounts before lifting. One more quick question, has anyone found a better spark plug than the Bosch, and any recommendations as to type or part number?
Thanks for your help.
