I bought a beautiful ember black XC90 V8. As I inspected it, I noticed the side mirrors are grey. Not quite chrome but not flat grey either. I am fine with the color, but on both sides there seems to be spots of orange on the tops of the mirror covers. I tried rubbing compound and they did not come off. Short of repainting, what could I do? what on earth could have fallen on them that hurt the pain on the mirror covers but no the car?.
