How to remove front wiper assembly cowl?

Wipers are sticking but if I lift them off the windshield they run fine. So I need to look at the assembly that moves the arms and possibly the wiper motor. Does anyone know how to remove the cowl that covers that area?. It's held on with 4 studs but darned if I can work out how to release them.

What do you mean by sticking? I just solved some bad wiper behavior on my dad's Kia. I would not think that moving the wiper motor was required. More info would help though.
