Driving back from Chicago on Interstate, little light with radiator and fan came on, went out and then came on again and stayed. Temp stayed Top Dead Center but that is an artificial value. No symptoms of over heating so just kept going.
When I got home. let vehicle cool down and inspected radiator fluid level which was a little above the bottom marker.
On subsequent restarts and around town, the light is OFF.
So, sensor problem or could actual boiling in the system cause a false low level and cooling be affected?-Dick

No, you're just at or under the minimum
You probably have a coolant leak somewhere or your radiator is just starting to leak.
Happens to the best of us, they ALL leak at some point.
Top it to the fill line (cold level) in the morning) and check it every week

Thanks, what got me is that the warning symbol came on at Interstate speed, 72mph and then sayed on for the remaining 15 miles with an On and Off cycle. When I checked the next morning after letting cool overnight, I expected level below min and light still on, but level was at min and no light. Will fill a little above Min and watch.-Dick
