Hello all,
New member here after acquiring a gently used 2006 XC70 from my father-in-law.
I've had the car for a few months now and been dealing with a few code: P0089, P0101 are the current faults, and then P0100 and P2188 come up at times.
History of car (that I know):
185k miles
New ECU (year old)
New fuel pump (year old)
Been through 2 previous MAFs
A few PCV hoses replaced
Timing belt/WP replaced
I have recently:
Installed a new BOSCH MAF
New volvo spark plugs
New Fuel Pressure Sensor
New filters/maint (fuel, air, oil, etc)
Checked PEM -- looks to be a newer model 4N5T-9C105-AG located in spare tire area. Cleaned connections, no corrosion.
The car seems to be running great to me, though the wife says it will surge/stutter at idle sometimes.
I've done a fair amount of searching the internet for causes/fixes on these codes and am now out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
