2005 XC70 facelift?

I have just ordered an XC70 D5 to be delivered in June 2004. I am picking up signals that a facelift is foreseen later this year. Does anyone have the details on this facelift and who could advise on when the facelifted model would start delivery?

According to this article (http://www.vvspy.com/news/0204/020418.php), a replacement platform would be on the horizon for MY2006/2007.

It would be interesting to see if various styling cues will be adopted from the ACC2 (http://www.volvoxc.com/acc2/index.html).

Checked them out. Indeed a new model seems to be out until 2006/2007.

However, spoke to my dealer in the meantime as I wanted to add bi-xenon. He then replied that the standard front light glass would be changed so it would be smart to order bi-xenon. I also picked up that the rearlights would get round inserts just like the XC70. These changes would be made in the Summer.

Again, nothing too serious of a change, but might still give another look.

Hello all, We have just ordered a T5 6 speed manual here in Italy and the delivery date has changed from 8 weeks to 22! The line my dealer is giving me is that there are slight mechanical updates which include the sospension....

Today I read in a Dutch car magazine that the V70 is foreseen to receive a facelift in July 2004. I take that also the XC70 will receive one. http://xc70.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
