I was going to take my valve body out and have it rebuilt by level ten , but at this point my trans may be done I'm afraid. I had adaptation done after first flush. I used 1\2 can seafoam transtune both times.at about 500 miles into the second flush I started to have a slip in 4th gear under hard acceleration, this also started in lower gears like 3rd. I did another complete drain and flush to see if it would help but its still there.the trans tune really does a good job of cleaning the internals (maybe to good)I still have my reverse engagement problem but if I go in and out of park neutral or drive ,I can get it to lock into reverse so I think that is valve body related but as far as my slip I don't know.when i transferred some of the old fluid from a week ago to another jug there was some nasty looking blackish residue left in the bottom.so is my tranny done ? I didn't have the fourth gear slip previously could this still be valve body?
