I need to replace my passenger front axle due to a bad shake on the highway when accelerating.

What brand axle is recommended as a replacement?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Are 2.4 non turbo and 2.4 turbo axles the same?

Thanks for the info. It looks as though NAPA sells both rebuilds and brand new axles. Also looks like they have a lifetime warranty on them.

Erie Volvo have a used OEM axle from a 2006 V60, would this fit a 2002 V70? There website seems to suggest it would fit.

Most decent sized cities have local driveline rebuilders that can install a new CV joint for you while you wait.

Purchased a low mileage 2007 pair. Serviced the CV joints completely - replaced greases, boots, and clamps.
Replaced reluctor rings. Used Volvo drive shaft seals.
This was last item on my front suspension overhaul project which took me three years, from 124k-mi to 144k-mi.
Successful by most account.

Would a used OEM axle from Erie Volvo be recommend over a new axle from NAPA or eEuroparts (empire brand)?

I've not replaced the axles on my XC, but I have replaced a LOT of axles on FWD vehicles over the years. Always buy the rebuilt lifetime warranted ones from OReilly. I've never had any problem.
