I've had to pull the fuse to turn off the fan. Found a drained battery one morning and finally traced it to the fan. I sat in the car for a few minutes with it running to see if it would turn off by itself. I don't see a fan relay in the box under the hood or in the cargo area. I tried switching around the under hood relays to see if there was a faulty one, but didn't turn up anything there.

I'm stuck. Is there another relay that I've missed? What else would control that fan?

PLUS.. We're having a heat wave and I need that AC!

Thanks!

I just found a thread that refers to a magnetic resistor. Can anyone tell me where it is located?

The electronic resistor or power unit can go bad and keep the fan on all the time. #5 on the diagram. It is mounted under the fan motor.

Do you happen to know here can I find some information on how I go about replacing it?
