do any of you have on call plus?  also, is it only a factory option, or can it be installed at the dealer.  Also, if you have it, how well does the phone work?

I have ordered the telephone option package direkt.
It works very nice. Good understanding at both sides and very safe with the multifunction steering wheel.

I got the On Call Plus on my XC70 '03 and it is not activated yet - I will leave it at the dealer for at least one day I'm told for the activation/installation.  The keypad and steering wheel buttons and the mini handset are there already, so I'm guessing that they need to put in a microphone and speaker?  The manual shows a speaker in the drivers headrest...
I have requested PCS Sprint as my phone carrier, they seem to be pushing ATT though.  I'll let you know how mine works next week.

thanks aufkohlegeboran, kommen sie auf deutschland?  Wo ist Kohle?  Hey Homer, did you order your on call plus from the factory or have it installed at the dealer?  It's listed as a factory installed option on their internet site, and I haven't seen any x/c's at my local dealer in NH coming in with it...ie, they'd have to order it ahead of time.  Doesn't make much sense, in N.A. better off as dealer option so they can sell more of them.  The one I have in my Saab (onstar) comes standard, totally voice activated system, you have to pay if you want it to work, but it's slick.

I ordered mine from the factory and thought it would show up ready to use, but it looks like the car will spend a day in the shop as well to make it work...
