oem volvo p2 double din question. help!

I received my oem volvo double din for my xc70 and was curious how does the climate control panel holds on to it. On the original hu-613 there was a metal bracket around it that has two tabs to help hold the CEM in place. Do I have to remove those and install on new double din? Help please!
