Too much work in the past 60 days to work on my own XC, but I finally got a break...
Spoiler installed
Small standard side mirrors installed
Subwoofer finally installed (no pic)
I still need to find that weird noise when cold, flush brake fluid, change AG fluid, probably flash the ECU again and other stuff.

With 59,000 miles this one is a real keeper, so I'm holding off on re-installing the lower rocker molding trim I removed from the 07 before I sold it.
I may monotone out this one, just trying to rationalize spending the money with no real return except to be different once again, (THEN re-install those moldings over white paint instead of ugly plastic cladding).

One question about the mirrors. Since I have an 02 could I only use 04 mirrors or is the wiring withing 05-06 mirrors the same. BTW that is one beautiful xc and as soon as its lowered it will look ace.

Who on the Earth wants to lower his XC70? Want low sitting sexy looking hot P2 wagon -> V70 T5 or R.

I believe they all work (01-07)

I did and JRL was talking about it with this one. They are so much nicer to drive and look a million times better as well.

Yes, but not in this conversation, so where the heck did that comment come from??!!
I don't know what's going on on the front of mine (beyond that weird cold noise) but it sits far lower in the front than my 07 did (and handles much better)!

This XC has a good 1/2"+++ forward rake *$%#^*(^*&....I'm wondering if the PO had a front spring or strut failure and AWD parts were used instead of XC parts.
Or...it had a rear parts failure and the rear springs or shocks are new and then would be a bit taller with far less miles.

Remember, only 59K miles and always a FL car (no rust)

I know you had mentioned it in the past and just was thinking out loud of how nice this one would look lowered. It's weird that with such low miles for it to be taking that much. When I replaced my original suspension with 182k it didn't take that much. Even with tons miles done on pot marked and washboard dirt roads.
