I just scored a 2000 V70 XC SE with only 33,000 miles. It replaces my '98 V70 XC with 250,000 miles. It is immaculate, ...just like a brand new car! I paid $10,000 for the vehicle. Of course I've never bought anything that somebody didn't tell me I paid too much. Anyhow, I replaced the stock 16" summer tires with my 15" snow tires. Then bolted on the ski racks and my trailer hitch off of the '98 and call it "The Adventure Car".
I have owned a 142 and a 244, .... good cars. I also currently own a 2003 V70 AWD. There is no comparison, the 1998-2000 version is twice the car in the snow compared to the 2003. I'll post pictures soon.
