Sure this would be as a result of the age of the car. For about two minutes to heat up, is it repairable?

They all take about that long. Our 02 has been like that since new. If you have a problem with the time just start the car 5 minutes early and let the seats warm up as it sits in the drive way. Yesterday I rode in a 2011 s-class and those warmed up in less than 20 sec, not to mention they also gave me a massage...

mine takes about that long, but only the seat cushion heats up. the seat back seems to stay cool or not get warm enough for me to notice
